Love Notes have teamed up with two local artist’s Poppy Ridsdill from iampoppy Designs and award winning floral designer, Julia Rose to bring you this all-inclusive 3 hour workshop!

Celebrate life, love and creativity in the quiet vibrant space that is Babalou. Perched over the Pacific Ocean, Babalou boasts a cool coastal charm with a feminine interior style making it the ideal canvas to let your inner creative shine!

Designed for beginners, learn the technique of watercolour art using brushes and tools with Poppy Ridsdill to produce a stunning array of floral designs.  After playing with colourful paints, indulge in local tea/coffee while the tables are reset with beautiful flowers ready to create your very own floral masterpiece!  Headed by Julia Rose, learn how to create a gorgeous English garden styled design, set in a beautiful ceramic pot. Your senses will be tingling with the sweet perfume and the exquisite mixture of modern & traditional garden blooms...

As the workshop concludes, enjoy a glass of complimentry bubbles with new friends made beautifully captured in a group photo.  Whether you are celebrating a girl's day out, a wedding or friendship, Floral Notes will be sure to delight and inspire.

Meet the Artist's


Poppy is fast becoming a well-known name within the creative arts for her graphic design and beautiful illustrations throughout Australia.  Based in the sunny surf town of Currumbin, she loves to create through texture, collage and ink drawing.  Poppy incorporates sewing, typography and digital media to create quirky, feminine designs based on landscapes, food and nature.


A creative genius, Julia Rose has established her name as a highly respected award winning floral designer of high fashion and runway with floral installations regularly seen on the front cover of magazines.  Julia is also known for her kind heart and giving nature in adopting wild animals onto her gorgeous property in the  Byron shire which has become a miniature farm known as Henrietta in the Hollow.
